Kern County Fire Equipment
| The Kern County Fire Department has a variety of equipment to accomplish its many missions. Many of them are very familiar while others are less visible yet but perform important specialty functions with specialized capabilities. The most common types of apparatus is the Fire Engine and Ladder Truck. Although these are often called the same thing they perform different functions for the department. |
