BUTTONWILLOW, CA - Friday, February 12th 2010 at approximately 6:07 A.M., a single passenger van was involved in a rollover accident.  The vehicle was travelling along Wasco Way north of 7th Standard Road when the accident occurred. Approximately 10 firefighters arrived on scene.

Upon arrival, fire crews were faced with a passenger van which had rolled over, and came to rest on its wheels. The driver and 10 passengers were all out of the vehicle. Fire crews assisted with the treatment of victims at the scene. The driver, suffering serious injuries was subsequently transferred to a local area hospital by air ambulance and 5 other persons with minor to moderate injuries were transported by ground ambulance. The other victims refused medical treatment.
